THE MAKE IT RAIN FACIAL SCHEDULE
Once you begin the Make It Rain package, it will take around three to four months to complete. Each procedure is spaced about two to three weeks apart. It is possible to do this because the facials generally do not cause much irritation and do not require the skin to heal between treatments. Before you start the Make It Rain package protocol, you will need to consult with a master esthetician.
Before Treatment
During a consultation with a master esthetician at Seattle Plastic Surgery, they will want to ensure the package will adequately address your needs and is safe for your skin. First, they will review your skin goals and concerns. They may also take a look at your medical history. Finally, your master esthetician may perform a quick examination of the skin.
If they determine you are a good candidate for the Make It Rain package, they will describe the facials with you and the results you can expect. Based on your goals or skin, they may also recommend add ons or additional treatment. They will create a specialized skincare plan designed to meet your goals.
Rain Facials In Seattle
The rain facial comprises the main component of the Make It Rain package. This non-invasive, non-irritating facial uses a pressurized stream of water to gently perform microdermabrasion. This clears pores and exfoliates without irritating the skin. Thus making the facial safe for people with sensitive skin.
Otherwise, the rain facial comes with eight other features that each target specific skin concerns or provide certain benefits. Our master estheticians offer two main types of rain facial: the tsunami facial and the monsoon facial.
The tsunami facial is the basic rain facial that can benefit almost anyone’s skin. It focuses on locking in moisture and clearing the skin of impurities. The tsunami rain facial uses the following features: microdermabrasion, ultrasonic facial, and red light therapy.
The monsoon facial offers anti-aging and anti-acne properties. Designed to kill acne causing bacteria and stimulate collagen production, this versatile facial offers a boost for patients looking to treat specific concerns. The monsoon facial uses the following features: microdermabrasion, skin scrubber treatment, lymphatic drainage, and red light therapy.
Beyond these two Seattle rain facial options, the rain facial is customizable and you will likely receive three different facials. The state of our skin can shift on a weekly and daily basis meaning that your skincare should as well.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is an esthetic treatment that uses a surgical blade to remove dead skin and peach fuzz. This process physically exfoliates the face while also providing a noticeable glow that many refer to as a “dermaplane glow.” This can increase the effectiveness of your skincare products and routine.
The dermaplaning session may take place between rain facials or before your final treatment. The placement of your Seattle dermaplaning treatment is largely up to you and your master esthetician.
Finishing Touches
For your final treatment of the Make It Rain package, you have the choice between an enzyme peel and the zombie carbon laser peel. Both treatments lightly exfoliate the skin and help maintain the quality of your skin.
An enzyme peel is a less invasive, gentler version of a chemical peel. It uses fruit enzymes to lightly exfoliate and remove dead skin. The enzyme peel is a great way to get nutrients into the skin and pairs well with dermaplaning treatment.
The zombie carbon laser peel involves applying a thin layer of carbon lotion and removing it precisely with a laser. Unlike other laser procedures, this does not ablate the skin. The treatment does not require any aftercare and often leaves the skin feeling refreshed.
